15th Which Human Rights? Film Festival needs your support!
For 15 years, our festival has been bringing the voices, testimonies and stories of resistance from Turkey and around the world to Istanbul. Now, we are seeking your support.
Which Human Rights? Film Festival has been an independent, solidarity-based space, sustained by voluntary effort, since 2009. We are preparing to celebrate our 15th anniversary with an exciting programme, which we have been working on for some time. The celebration will take place across six venues around Istanbul from 13–17 December 2025. Unfortunately, however, our festival is facing financial difficulties this year, as it has been unable to find the financial support it had hoped for. In order to realise the programme we have envisioned and meet with you again, we are relying on the solidarity of everyone who has followed us from near or far and who has watched or wishes to watch our films.
Due to rising costs and waning support, we have been unable to secure the minimum budget required, despite the festival's imminent arrival. Since its inception, HİHFF has survived through volunteering, solidarity and small contributions, offering all its film screenings and events free of charge. This year, we have decided to expand our circle of solidarity and turn to crowdfunding.
Let's keep our festival alive and celebrate its 15th anniversary together!
