A small island in Marmara Sea, close to İstanbul, Burgaz once called Antigoni. An entire country and endless longing for them. Along with thousands of Roums in İstanbul they paid for the political problems between Turkish and Greek governments and as a result departed from their so loved homeland Antigoni in their youth. They tried to replace Antigoni with other islands. Neither Burgaz lived without them nor they could live without Antigoni. In August 2012 old friends reunited, tears mixed with laughter and Burgaz island once again lived the good old days of Antigoni, even for a week…
